Effects Of Long Term Use Of Amphetamines On Thyroid
Hashimoto thyroidism, HGH bld pressure vitamin d sufficient, excess weight gain, feel tired all the time, would amphetamine boost my energy?
Yes, but: It would be potentially dangerous and possibly illegal depending upon the source of the amphetamines. Why put something in your body that is harmful and can potentially kill you? Also get off the armour thyroid, which is ground up pig tissue and have your doctor put you on brand name T4 replacement, which is better and safer. ...Read more

What do you suggest if i had thyroid cancer, thyroid removed how long will meth be detectable in my system is it possible to test positive 6 mo after use?
No: Thyroid cancer and/or its removal will have no impact on positivity of drug testing in any significant way. Neither methamphetamine or Methadone (not sure which meth you mean) will stay positive in urine or blood, but hair testing can detect drug use 6 months earlier if the hair is long enough. ...Read more
What do you recommend if I had thyroid cancer thyroid removed how long will meth be detectable in my system is it possible to test positive 6 mo after use?
I don't know what: having a thyroid cancer removed would have to do with your methamphetamine problem, but I don't think they are related, and one has nothing to do with the other. Methamphetamine is rapidly metabolized and excreted, and usually drug tests are negative 3-5 days after last use. It cannot be positive in urine 6 months later, but hair testing can detect it for that long or longer, depending on length. ...Read more

Can Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) effect the levels of hormones produced by the thyroid?
Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) and thyroid: Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) will not increase the blood levels of thyroid hormone. But the stimulatory effects of Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) are similar to the stimulatory effects of too much thyroid. If your thyroid is normal, it is not an issue. But if you suffer from hyperthyroidism (eg. Graves disease, too much medication), then the combined effects of the disease and the Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) can be dangerous to your heart. ...Read more
I'm having Thyroid surgery & have been a crystal meth user for over 15 years. I plan on getting clean 3-4 days before my surgery; is this enough time?
I just had a baby 4 months ago and just this past month started taking my Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) again with thyroid meds, I feel lethargic like I can't function Why?
Post partum: fatigue is not unusual. Be sure to let your doctor know and have your hemoglobin checked. Also make sure you are getting the right dose of your thyroid medication. If there is any way you can make sure to get enough sleep, a difficult task with a 4 month old, it will help. If you are experiencing depression, let your doctor know right away. 4 months is the right time for post partum depression to become disabling and prompt treatment will be effective. When you are able, try to get some exercise and time for yourself. ...Read more
Are the effects of long-term amphetamine use (adderall) different than the effects of long-term methamphetamine use?#nqlu i've heard that the molecular structure of Adderall is virtually the same as that of methamphetamine. Will long-term use (10 years s
They aren't the same: Small differences in the molecules can make all the difference in the world. The is one carbon atom difference between beverage alcohol and wood alcohol, and one will cause you to go blind and can kill you with a single drink, and the other one doesn't. When taken as prescribed and monitored for side effects, adderal has been shown to be safe. Some docs give people holidays (weekends, holidays)off. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
