You shouldn't: It would help to know why you are on Levaquin (levofloxacin) and predisone, but i will guess it is a pulmonary infection. Alcohol in amounts more than social drinking (1-2 drinks/day) impairs the cough reflex, increases chances of aspiration, damages our immune system and increases side effects of prednisone, especially stomach irritation/bleeding. Major side effect of Levaquin (levofloxacin) is tendon rupture - which can happen up to months after stopping the medicine.
