I was on nuva ring for about two months and I've been wanting to get pregnant for the past month, would being on nuva ring effect me getting pregnant?
Yes: Nuvaring is a form of contraception or birth control. As long as you continue to use it, your chances of getting pregnant are pretty low. So if you want to get pregnant, then you need to remove the ring. Make sure your doc knows that you're no longer using it. Used properly, you shouldn't need any emergency contraception such as plan b, certainly not twice in a cycle. Actually, you should never need Plan B as long as nuva ring is left in place for 3 consecutive weeks, removed for 7 days and then new one is put in place. ...Read more
