Uncertain: Are you certain that the problem only happens after sun exposure? Too frequent hand washing and using harsh soap often cause irritant dermatitis on the hands but contact allergens are also possible triggers. Hydrocortisone cream may help. Hand Eczema: Could be eczema vs. acute allergic contact dermatitis to nail polish, soaps or hand lotions. Try avoiding these products and moisturize twice a day with Vanicream or Cetaphil and see if lesions improve. If rash severe may require topical steroid cream. Also avoid washing hands frequently and use gloves when doing dishes. Aquaphor to hands overnight to promote healing also helpful. See Allergist. ...Read more
