I drink a 11.5 Oz of v8 daily, can I still safely take a multi vitamin that has vitamin A in it, just don't want to overdose on vitamin A. Thank you.
V8 has NO Vit A:
V8 does not contain any vitamin A. Zero. Vit. A only comes from animal foods. V8 does have beta carotene, which our bodies convert to Vit A if needed, but there is no toxic dose of beta carotene. So drink all the V8 you want, and continue your multivitamin.

What to do if I do not eat processed food. I don't drink pop or use sugar, I take colostrum bovine and multi vitamins daily. I sleep well, why can't I drop down?
FAR BETTER OPTIONS:
No! Ensure has 22 grams of sugar & has corn & soy from gmo sources & milk protein from cows given dangerous rbgh- you don't need to take these! If you prefer your vitamins in a drink there are far better choices, such as k-pax protein blend by orthomolecular products or mediclear by thorne research. You can find good vitamin/protein powders at health food stores &online.

Is it safe to take a multivitamin with isoniazid. Also, would ensure plus be safe to drink while taking isoniazid?
Male - drinking organic SuperVeg shake everyday, is it ok to take my multivitamin tablet? If I'm taking too many vits what side effects will I notice?
Yes, very unlikely: Vitamin toxicity is rather rare. The only vits that tend to be toxic are A, E, D & B6. None of those are present in significant amounts in your shake. Generally one must take over 300, 000 iu/day of A for 6 months or more to become toxic (though high doses are dangerous if pregnant), over 1600 iu of E, 40, 000 or more iu of D & 250 mg of B6 for months to become toxic. No multivits have these levels. ...Read more

Multivitamins: You're right, but there are some guideposts, such as whether or not natural vitamin e (mixed tocopherols and trienols) are used; content of vit. D (should be at least 1000iu); using beta-carotene rather than retinols, etc. For helpful info on how to select vitamins, see: http://www. Multivitaminguide. I bought vitamins: calcium, iron, & garlic. Is it ok if I drink them once a day being that I bought them individually instead of the multivitamin?
OK, however...: It is fine to have those once a day but I don't believe they are a substitute for a multivitamin; despite the recent study claiming multivits don't work, a good quality multivit is wise for almost everyone to take ; folate (folic acid) is esp. Important for women who could become pregnant. All adults should take 5-8, 000 iu of vit d/day in fall ; winter; if you are taking calcium for bone health d ; k help more! ...Read more
