Not recommended: I would avoid it as there have been contaminates such as mercury that has been found in raw rice. That, along with possible gastrointestinal infections, i would avoid it, but that's more personal opinion rather than outright, proven rule. If you do eat raw rice, cleanse and rinse very well. No: Methi leaves (AKA fenugreek) is sometimes used to stimulate labor and help with breast milk production. So, first trimester use would not be recommended. Not likely: Eating raw rice is not of itself dangerous. However if the rice is not clean and dried and just from the fielf then eating it could be dangerous from bacteria that could be on the rice. Tuna is relatively high in mercury which can be dangerous for developing babies so authorities advise limiting albacore to 6 ounces per week.However,other types of tuna like skipjack/ chuck light have less mercury.
