K doesn't cause clot: While Vit K is needed for blood to clot, avoiding K doesn't reduce the risk of clots! The only reason to avoid is if you're on warfarin as K can interfere with it, but research shows being on some K actually stabilizes the effects of warfarin. Low serum iron from not eating properly over 8 months. Not anaemic. Will 20-30mg iron from food a day bring it back to normal without supplement?

Perhaps: Serum iron by itself is unreliable and is not always synonymous with iron deficiency.
Would need full iron study panel to assess.
Serum iron, tibc, ferritin, and % saturation.

Only if you have..: It is virtually impossible to od on iron from just consuming iron-rich foods if you don't have some genetic abnormality such as hemochromatosis. Normally, your body will aborb enough iron and the rest will go out the other end. Hemochromatosis: your body will keep hogging the iron and will cause problem if not intervened.
