OK to eat more food: Meat is a concentrated source of fat & calories. It's ok & typical to eat more food on a vegetarian diet. For example, 100 calories of steak has 6.5 grams of protein vs.100 cal. Of kale having 6.8 gr. However, 100 cal. Of steak weighs 1 oz. While 100 cal. Of kale weighs 12.6 oz. Possible effects but: There is no reason you can't have strong erections on a vegetarian diet. The 2 nutrients that may have greatest effects on this are arginine & zinc. Hmmmm...?: If you are asking whether your food, touching meat on a grill, would make you sick, simply because you are a vegetarian, I'd have to say no. On the other hand, if several other people at your cookout got sick too, it could be food poisoning. Expect some vomiting and/or diarrhea.
