Eating Bad But No Weight Gain
I heard its bad to eat late at night & causes weight gain & I also heard it's a myth & eating late at night WILL NOT cause weight gain. Which is it?
Both: Mathematically speaking, it makes no difference at what time a person eats, because her weight gain only depends on how many EXTRA calories she eats or drinks, above the number of calories she uses each day or each week. In reality, many people gain weight when they eat before bed... because they already ate all the daily calories they need by 8:00 p.m., and the calories after then are EXTRA ones. ...Read more

It seems, from the timing of your question, that it is a little late for this advice. However, before you undergo any procedure from any physician, you should have a complete explanation of what is to be done and what the consequences will be.
If you're not comfortable with doing this at this time, please discuss with your doctor and reschedule. ...Read more
Not known for sure: Nobody really knows. The supplement is not a medication approved by the FDA. Such products are probably not tested for interactions and side effects like real medicines are. So, that means nobody really knows what side effects there are (nor what benefits are real, if any). If a CB-1 user hears of some interaction or thinks he is getting a side effect, he can visit his primary care doctor. ...Read more

Not a good idea:
Flushing out the water weight, ie urinating, with a diuretic is not a good idea. The water will be quickly replaced in short time, if your body is functioning properly. In addition, essential electrolytes will be compromised which can protentially create problems. "water" in the body is both intracellular
and extracellular and equilibrium will be maintained. It's a trick used by charlatans. ...Read more

Hi, I am considering changing from cerazette to yasmin. No bad effects on cerazette other than weight gain (tested it by stopping for a few months and?
Unsure what ur? Is: I agree with unchanging from a progestin only pill like cerazette to a combine oral contraceptive pill because they are more effective and forgiving. If I miss a dose and may provide other benefits like improving acne. However, I would recommend a different formulation than Yasmin, like Loestrin or Sprjntec which have lower risk of blood clots. ...Read more

Low back pain: Back pain can result from a multitude of factors, but is commonly related to disorders of the intervertebral disc. Premature degeneration of the disc can, in fact, be related to repetitive and/or excessive loads (e.g., weight) placed upon the disc. Weight loss, aerobic conditioning, and core strengthening can all help mitigate the risk of pathologic disc disorders. Lean and mean is the way to go. ...Read more
Hi I'm 17 and I've been on abilify (aripiprazole) for a while. Right now I'm on 5mg and I want to stop cold turkey because of the weight gain is this a bad idea?
Weight gain plus possible toxins from narcotics has caused bad odor (musty smell) and at night worse. Feminine area too. Why and how help it?
Increase water intak: I would encourage adequate water intake to detox. Approximately half your body weight in ounces for ideal body weight. A lemon master cleanse may not be a bad idea but this requires significant will power and discipline. Try to wean yourself off narcotics. Long term narcotics use can sensitize you to the pain and actually make the pain seem worse along with the risk of addiction. ...Read more

I have wicked back pain, bloated stomach, badly constipated, hot flushes and weight gain. I am on constipated treatment and this makes no difference.
Constipation Rx: Well, you can't really tell what role the constipation is playing until you have some results. If increasing water, fiber in diet, & exercise isn't producing results of easier passage of softer stool, then you may need a laxative (i.e. Miralax) or enemas, hopefully supervised by your doctor. You are likely having hot flashes from menopause; your doctor can help with hormone and other treatments. ...Read more
