Easily Absorbed Magnesium
Clever marketing?: The sellers of magnesium oil write that their product is magnesium dissolved in water, with a slippery feel, so is called an "oil". Sounds like clever marketing, with some slippery claims. One should ask them for research studies comparing patients who used the magnesium oil (water), with patients who used the regular oral forms of magnesium. If no good research study is available, then beware! ...Read more
Magnesium: Magnesium is fairly efficiently (30 to 40%) absorbed by the body. Any that is absorbed in excess can be excreted easily by the kidneys, assuming normal renal function. Any excess will be excreted in the stool, usually causing diarrhea if it is present in any significant amount. Most people do not need magnesium supplements, since it is present in many foods. ...Read more
HA: Yes, if you modify the molecule and lower the molecular weight but original ha will not absorb orally as the molecule is too big. The small varients in theory will not combine with water in the joint as readily and are less efficacious than the injectible form. ...Read more

Safe to take lorazepam w/ nature made magnesium supplement(mag ox, cellulose gel, croscarmellose sodium, mag stearate, silicon dioxide, stearic acid)?
Safe but not best Mg: It is totally safe but magnesium oxide is a very poorly-absorbed form of magnesium- it may work as a laxative but won't raise your magnesium levels! you would be far better off taking magnesium glycinate, taurate or citrate! see http://drcarolyndean.Com/magnesium_miracle/. ...Read more
What's the difference from magnesium elemental from magnesium Glycinate/lysinate chelated, sodium bicarbonate, and magnesium oxide?
Diff. absorption and: Magnesium always occurs as a salt in combination with other things such as chloride, oxide, glycine, citrate, taurine etc. Some forms are poorly absorbed; for example magnesium oxide is only 4% absorbed, so it does not raise magnesium much but is a good laxative. The best-absorbed are glycinate and taurate and those amino have benefits. See https://www.organicnewsroom.com/magnesium-supplements/ ...Read more

Can vitamin d deficiency cause muscle cramps even when calcium, magnesium, and potassium levels are good?
May be: Many issues are attributed to low vitamin D without necessarily strong evidence. However, if you suspect vitamin D deficiency, which is common, take about 2000 units of vitamin D3 daily. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine. ...Read more
Do chewable gummy multivitamins get properly absorbed as much as regular USP verified tablet multivitamins?
Probably: Not all gummy vitamins are created equal and some are undoubtedly better than others, but they should contain high quality vitamins in a different base than tablets. The fact that they are chewable may increase their absorbability, but i don't know any objective research on their absorption so this is all just an educated guess. ...Read more
