No: Most home pregnancy tests are highly accurate once you have missed your first period. Follow the instructions closely and use your first morning urine. It also helps for a more accurate method to collect the urine in a disposable paper cup and dip the test strip inside for the prescribed time vs holding the strip in the urine stream. Refrain from alcohol and cigarettes until you know for sure. ...Read more

On 2ww after a FET. 7dp3dt I don't feel any symptom of pregnancy, is it too early to feel anything? When can I do a HPT. Am on crinone (progesterone gel) & progynova.

On 2ww after a FET. 7dp3dt I don't feel any symptom of pregnancy, is it too early to feel anything? When can I do a HPT. Am on crinone (progesterone gel) & progynova.

Now: You can do a pregnancy test now and repeat it in 3-5 days if it is negative. Your crinone (progesterone gel) and progynova won't effect the pregnancy test. As to symptoms of pregnancy, some women have multiple symptoms as soon as they conceive it seems but others don't have much in the way of symptoms at all in early pregnancy other than skipping periods. That should not be a cause for worry. Best wishes. ...Read more

13 days post 3 day FET with a beta of 124.5. My previous pregnancy that ended in MC first beta was 159. Should I be discouraged? Next beta 4 days away

13 days post 3 day FET with a beta of 124.5. My previous pregnancy that ended in MC first beta was 159. Should I be discouraged? Next beta 4 days away

BhCG not = MC rate: I assume "beta" means beta-hCG, the pregnancy marker. To my knowledge, the hCG is used to indicate the length of time of pregnancy / implantation of the embryo. Unless there is a tumor, BhCG doubles every few days for the first few weeks. Regardless of the BhCG "doubling time", it does not predict later rates of miscarriage (esp in 2nd or 3rd trimester). So, no reason to be discouraged. GL! ...Read more

I have done FET 14 days past and done my urine pregnancy test on the 12th day post FET and it turns positive.2 embies transfered. Possible for a twins?

Yes, possible: Yes it is possible that you have twins but a urine pregnancy test only gives you a yes or no answer. In order to get a quantitative number you would need a blood test for HCG. Then when you are 5 weeks + few days pregnant you should be able to see the number of gestational sacs present in the uterus. ...Read more

I had fet its my day 11 today and last two I’ve been bleeding today I have done home pregNancy test got faint positive can I be pregnant still?

Unlikely: Conception, as defined by the generation of a fertilized ovum, occurs within day or so of the sex. However, it takes about 3 weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG to produce a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period. If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD.
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
Get HPV vaccine, if you are younger than 27 years. ...Read more

Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
