How do hpv oral symptoms look like in men?

How do hpv oral symptoms look like in men?

Warts, cancer (rare): Oral HPV usually causes no symptoms at all. Rarely warts inside the mouth; more rarely, cancer of the throat. The vast majority of oral HPV causes neither problem and clears up on its own. But warts and maybe cancer are more common in people with immune deficiency, especially due to HIV (maybe on your mind, since you're in Uganda?). You Can't: Know if he has HPV unless he tells you or you see active lesions and various forms of HPV have different types of lesions in different areas of the bodies when active. Other times, someone with HPV (and most people have some form of it) is dormant and may never be an issue. Most lesions need to be removed by a clinician though some can be cleared with creams or ointments. Read more

How to know if my partner has genital HPV or not? He's ok and no symptoms. Blood test? DNA test? How can men find out? What's the treatment for them??

Don't ask: Please forgive me. There's no test for HPV for a man, and no treatment. If you are right for each other, it's moot. HPV is not a danger to your life if you get regular pap smears and follow-up. If this guy is worth loving, and loves you, take him just as he is -- and be thankful also for the fact that we can manage HPV. You have been immunized, right? Read more
