Early Signs Of Pregnancy After Ivf
What are early signs of pregnancy after IVF and how much I should be careful after embryo transfer. Can I take complete bed rest or do household works?

After IVF you will be getting a blood pregnancy test 2 weeks after embryo transfer unless your period comes before that period. You do not need to rest after embryo transfer. Fatigue, occasional pressure and cramping, and mild spotting are all very common. ...Read more

Ok: Most ivf clinics only measure HCG levels approximately 9 days after a day 5 embryo transfer. However, some clinics feel that the combination of HCG levels and Progesterone levels have a more predictive value of a good pregnancy than HCG levels alone. Personally, we only measure hcg. Hope this helps and good luck. ...Read more
Pregnancy test: If you had a retrieval 2 - 3 weeks ago and the test is positive, the test isn't early and you are pregnant. Still, the pregnancy may not continue so your doctor may continue to monitor the levels to see if they are going up appropriately. Then, a sonogram will confirm the pregnancy. Still, you can miscarry so you should follow your doctor's instructions. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
