It's normal: Some people feel relatively good in the first trimester, others not so much. Your hormones are still rising rapidly and you may still experience nausea, food/smell aversion, cramping and spotting. But if you don't it doesn't mean you should worry, you are likely just very fortunate! ...Read more

I took FOUR pregnancy tests all negative. But, still having symptoms? Everything but tender breasts. Unprotected sex all the time, pregnant or what?

I took FOUR pregnancy tests all negative. But, still having symptoms? Everything but tender breasts. Unprotected sex all the time, pregnant or what?

More info needed: Without information on your cycle - ie if you are late- it is impossible to tell you if the pregnancy tests are accurate. The bigger question is this: Are you trying to get pregnant? If so- please make sure that you are taking a prenatal vitamin. If not -you need to use birth control- condoms (STDs and preg) and spermacide/birth control pills/ depo shot etc. To avoid unwanted pregnancy. ...Read more

I had protected sex but now I am 12 days late for my period and I have tender breasts. I have no other pregnancy symptoms. Could I be pregnant?

Trust the test: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection. Sounds like just a late period. ...Read more

If having ONLY cramps seven days after conception, is that an early sign of pregnancy? Nothing else. No spotting, tender breasts, etc.

Maybe: Implantation takes place usually 7-10 days after ovulation. mild cramping may be a sign of this. Once implantation occurs, the level of HCG begins to rise and then the pregnancy test will be positive.
conception usually happens in the fallopian tube when the sperm and egg unite usually 36-48 hours after ovulation. ...Read more

8th day from IUI treatment, negative result, but all the symptoms for pregnancy, tender breasts, nauseas, etc is it possible to be to soon to know?

Testing too Soon: Does your question mean that you have already tried a pregnancy test? If so, then yes, this was done way too soon and was probably a waste of money. The body does not know it is pregnant and thus cannot create 'symptoms' for some time. The fetus has to implant and then grow to a size that it has blood and blood vessels and is sharing blood with the mother. This happens at least fourteen days. ...Read more

6 days late negative home pregnancy tests. Symptoms - tender breasts, sore lower back, mild cramps on & off for over the last week. Pregnant?

Possible: I'd wait 1 more week and check again. Use reputable brand name pregnancy test such as First Response or Clear Choice. Do a little research on the internet for reviews. If still negative after another week and you are continuing to be symptomatic then, you may wish to check with your gynecologist for a blood test. ...Read more

Extremely tender breasts, period symptoms for 1 wk, took pregnancy test last fri. Negative. Period not due for 11 days, on birth control. Help?

I am having tender breasts. I am on Depo-Provera and had sex back in early May. I took Plan B and 3 pregnancy tests all negative (May-July). Could I be preg?

Common side effect: Tender breasts are actually a fairly common side effect of Depo-Provera injections. I would think that with the timely ingestion of the Plan B within 72 hours of the unprotected sex and 3 negative pregnancy tests you can be fairly sure you're not pregnant. ...Read more

Is a low temperature always a sign of early pregnancy (about 3 weeks) or can you be pregnant and not have one. I have been really tired frequent urination spotted dark brown/pink blood for 2 days tender breasts feel naucious had low grade fever yesterda

Low: Low grade fever can be a sign of early pregnancy. Not everyone experiences this, so to answer your question, yes you can be pregnant and not have a low grade fever.
On the other hand low grade fever, especially if it lasts for a while, may may a sign of an infection. If this is the case (prolonged fever) you should inform your doctor right away.
Also you can take an early prediction test at this point.
Good luck. ...Read more

3 weeks after safe intercourse. Symptoms are: tender breasts, Stomach aches, cravings, cramps. Chance of pregnancy?

Unlikely, but...: A urine pregnancy test, done correctly, gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test. If a woman gets her normal regular period, then she is not pregnant, and a test is not needed. ...Read more

Hello.: Hello. I don't know if you are pregnant. Classic pregnancy symptoms can begin as early as when you miss your period. You can test with a routine home pregnancy test as soon as the first day you miss your period. Sometimes a woman can be pregnant and have a negative pregnancy test because the HCG level was not high enough to trigger a positive. In that case you can retest in a week or less. If you tested before missing your period, it is not likely to show a positive unless you used an early detection test. ...Read more

Pregnancy (Definition)

When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
