Yes: I assume u are neat term, it can come out all at once or over a number of weeks, both cases are normal and u will notice more once your OB starts cervical exams usually at 37 wks, ideal time to deliver is 39-40 weeks - best outcome for the baby so do not go past your due date I do not allow any of my pts to go past and none of mine want to, induction is safe and easy at term and my pts want it. ...Read more

Early labor signal?: Old blood appears brownish. Did your OB examine you recently? Did you have intercourse? Is it still there, more profuse, reddish? Are you having contractions, pressure or pain in the pelvis? These are some questions you will be asked by your OB or his associate. Discharge can herald labor.
