My 4.5 month old has started to move his head side to side like saying "no" very often. Someone told me is a sign of autism. Is this true?
Not really: Is your child doing this as a reaction to your face? Is your child doing this when you are not looking at him? This sounds like an interaction between you and your child so I do not think this is concerning. Is your child doing any other concerning behaviors? Is he fussy and irritable a lot? Any significance of head circumference 19 percentile at birth and 89 percentile at 8 years? Child does have level 1 autism diagnosis.

You would be more concerned about hydrocephalus and other developmental delays rather than autism.
