Sinus infection: Sounds like a sinus infection or ear infection. An examination would be able to determine this. I would recommend you see your pcp today and get evaluated.

What can I do for stopped up ears and ringing. Dr gave 3 steriod pills january 1 and it's still going on.?

Patience: Aside from adequate fluid intake and over-the-counter decongestants you must be patient. Often this can be quite frightening when it effects your hearing and your ability to tell how loud you are speaking. It can take more than a week to clear. After that have them rechecked, but try not to panic. The ringing may disappear when your ears open.

Rare side effect: I am no psychiatrist but to the best of my knowledge, tinnitus can be a lesser known side effect. I would call the doctor that prescribed the medication to you and share your concern.

L stopped clomipramine because of ringing on ears when should this spit early a week no improvement.

L stopped clomipramine because of ringing on ears when should this spit early a week no improvement.

Depends.: It largely depends on whether the ringing in the ears is a side effect of the clomipramine or independent. Clomipramine and it's major metabolite should be out of your system completely in a couple of weeks. If the symptoms persist, they are unlikely due to the medication.

Oral vancomycin: Is not absorbed into your blood stream, so it will not have any side effects that affect your ear. But if you are taking any other meds, one of them might have this side effect. If your ENT cannot find anything wrong, consult with a neurologist.

Tinnitus: Tinnitus is not a disease, but a condition that can result from a wide range of underlying causes. Sometimes spontaneous, Aspirin toxicity or in your case, possibly related to your surgery and something as simple as a potassium imbalance. This explains the many home remedies you. It might be best to consult with an ENT for a complete workup as this may or may not have been related to your surgery.

Not clear: You need to be seen by ENT. I am not sure that the two are related. It appears the nose bleeds are not due to high blood pressure. I am not sure why you have ringing unless this exists for some time and the nose bleeds are temporally related Best wishes.

Naproxen Tinnitus: Hello. Tinnitus is ringing in the ears. It's common with NSAIDs like Naproxen, Motrin, etc. The tinnitus will end. Give it at least the same amount time to resolve off the medicine as you were on Naproxen. You've only taken it for 3 days so that you have every likelihood in my book for tinnitus to stop for good.

Hello,: Hello, you may have an upper respiratory tract infection. Congestion can place pressure against the eustacian tubes, so that they are not draining the ears of fluid and pressure with resultant pain and ear ringing (tinnitus). The congestion can also cause a headache. The mucus could be coming from a variety of places including your nose or a sinus. Recommend that you see an ear/ nose/throat specialist. I hope you are feeling better soon. Take care.

How to cure ringing in the ears?

How to cure ringing in the ears?

No complete cure: Tinnitus is ringing in the ears caused by damage to the hearing nerve. It is typically heard at the frequency of the damage. It is essentially the brain thinking it heard a sound at that frequency when there is no sound. The brain hears it because of the damage and does not always resolve fully. Treatment involves masking the sound or other conservative treatments. Surgery is a last resort.
