Ear pain, jaw pain near ear, ear ringing, ear clogged/cant hear, feels like water in ear, general congestion/dark mucus. Any ideas/recs? Thx!
Right ear infection 8/25.On antibiotic since.Have slight ear pain and headache.loud ringing/muffled sound. Pain behind eyes. Left ear craclking.

Effusion vs infectio: I suspect you have a middle ear effusion and not an infection. When you have an infection, there is usually pain, sometimes fever and you feel much worse. If you are just experiencing "noise" in your ear, having difficulty with hearing, then this is more likely a fluid buildup in that middle ear space. Recommend you chew gum, "pop" your ears hundreds of times a day and monitor for other symptoms. ...Read more

Be careful: If there is any chance of a perforation you want to be careful about using OTC ear drops as you don't want "just anything" going into the middle ear. Temperal Arteritis: Hello, you should be evaluated by a doctor ASAP (ER or Urgent Care now!). The worse case scenario would be an inflammation of a large artery in the area you describe and the need for immediate treatment with steroid pills. You would need follow up with an ENT doctor to be further evaluated. They might even biopsy the blood vessel.
