Please see your Dr.: Please see a dermatologist as soon as possible. Many different reasons for itchy skin all over. Scabies is just one of them. If this is scabies, a simple treatment with Permethrin cream applied today and in one week and following some instructions on what to do with clothing and bedding will help you get rid of this itch. How do I get rid of itchy skin? I get small bumps on ears that itch bad, also red itchy welts on cheeks & around jaw. Lotion stops some of the itching but dosnt reduse the red swelling. Thank you
Seborrheic Dermatiti: If this is a recurring problem, it may be seborrheic dermatitis. This is a troublesome condition of unknown cause, although it can be worsened by stress. Try small amounts of over-the-counter Hydrocortisone cream. Your skinseb should clear it up in a few days. Unfortunately, the condition will probably recur--but you can control it with judicious applications of the cortisone cream.See 1 more doctor answer
Five days ago I had red itchy skin from using duac cream for acne. I am fine now but I have an enlarged lymph node inferior to my left ear. P. Causes?
Prob. Infection: True true and unrelated. We all have lymph nodes throughout our bodies. Far and away the most common reason that they swell is that you have an infection in that area of your body-I.e. your skin, ear, throat, arm, etc. Nearby. Sometimes viral, sometimes bacterial, rarely fungal. If you're basically healthy you'll heal yourself. Otherwise see your doc. If get more nodes could be nasty.
Red itchy skin & ears & swollen glands in neck since moving to new place. Gets worse after I've been in laundry room. Using same detergents. Help!
Allergic reaction: We can develop allergies even if we haven't changed the type of products we use. I would start by changing my laundry detergent to a hypoallergenic one. If that doesn't work, you can use a hypoallergenic soap like neutrogena. If you are no better after these changes, you need to see a dermatologist or allergist.
Enlarged lymph nodes for 6months, constant headaches, ringing in ears, lack of energy, itchy skin, awaiting second blood test. What is wrong?
A Medical exam indic: You need a complete physical to check you and find out why your nodes are swollen. It could be a viral illness or some other cause which may require additional tests to be determined by your doctor.

I have dry, red, itchy skin & am concerned about lupus, thanks to an unfortunate Google search. Can iron deficiency/anemia cause skin problems & itch?
You may be onto: Something as the most common cause of itching can be iron deficiency anemia. However, without more info, this is only speculative. We need your medical, family, social, sexual, surgical, meds/supplement histories to put all the pieces together. Do see your doctor and discuss this. A simple lab test can help!
I have had itchy skin head to my toes now for 3 months is there something I can take that will help me also have had diarrhea nowfor about 2 months?
Needs evaluation: Hi, this is not normal and could be anything from skin disorder to liver/gallbladder disease to infection. Have you been to a doctor to try and determine the cause? Once we know possible reasons for pruritis (itching) more effective/specific treatment can be suggested. Hope you get help soon.
Well: Well this could be an internal problem like a liver disease or kidney disease or diabetes or parasites or a problem with your blood chemistry or even parasites. You can develop a rash from a product you've used for a long time like laundry soap shampoo soap's perfumes lotions. Recommend Healthtap visit or primary care doctor visit for specific diagnosis and treatment

I've been having cramps on my lower left side, dizziness, nausea, intense itchy skin mainly with weather change &BAD head aches. What's wrong with me?
PMS vs. Migraines?: Now, tell me....itchiness, lower left crampiness and such happening in the face of weather changes or are the headaches doing that? Do you have headaches with nausea and dizziness WITHOUT abdominal symptoms ever and do they occur with or before weather changes? If so, then, you may have an entity known as barometric headaches....treated relatively the same as migraines but they can be challenging.
I have hives, itchy skin. My stomach feels really weird. It burns and aches. And my stool is pale? Really gross I know! I have head aches as well...
