Is nausea headache shooting earache & shooting head pain teeth grinding dizzyness light headed all side effects of prozac (fluoxetine)?
Not necessarily: Many of your symptoms appear to be related to a TMJ/TMD issue. Prozac (fluoxetine) does have some terrible side effects (bad effects,) and should be explored. But the question is if you had any of these symptoms prior to going on Prozac (fluoxetine). Get to your Dr. or pharmacist and ask many questions. You may need more than one Dr. and/or a TMJ/TMD specialist. ...Read more

Yes: I have had several patients report ringing in their ears or tinnitus that either began or worsened on wellbutrin (bupropion) and other antidepressants that seem to increase norepinephrine. It goes away when the med is stopped but you may not get the same benefit from other antidepressants. Adding a low dose of Klonopin sometimes helps. I am on celexa (citalopram) for 3 years , can celexa (citalopram) cause sore neck , sore jaw and pressure in ears ?
Unlikly but possible: Severe dry mouth or xerostomia can be a side effect of any medication. However the degree would have to be so severe that something like a parotid gland stone has formed which is causing the problem. Additionally your would have many other anticholinergic symptoms and probably more than just the Celexa (citalopram) is involved if at all. In other words it is possible but an ENT specialist may best to check it. ...Read more
Brain fog for the past couple of weeks coupled with dull ache behind both eyes. Stiff neck also. My Lexapro (escitalopram) dose loosing effectiveness? A migraine?
Not a migraine: Could be a cervicogenic headache which is from neck muscles in spasm. You could try a massage of the area or a hot shower playing the spray over the neck area while stretching out the neck muscles. Moist heat or ice packs over the sore neck areas could actually make your head feel better. The brain fog could be a neurological issue. Good luck. ...Read more
