Ear Bleeding No Pain
Symptoms: sharp ear pain unless taking Tylenol, (acetaminophen) throbbing, slight hearing loss. No fever or drainage. Slight sinus congestion. What could it be?
Eustacean tube dysfx: When the nasal sinuses are congested, it may block the opening of the Eustacean tube, which connects from the back of the nasopharynx to the middle ear and cause pain. At times, fluid may also accumulate. If there is significant pain or hearing loss, see your doctor to evaluate for a middle ear infection. Saline nasal spray may help to alleviate congestion without endangering your pregnancy ...Read more
Effusion vs infectio: I suspect you have a middle ear effusion and not an infection. When you have an infection, there is usually pain, sometimes fever and you feel much worse. If you are just experiencing "noise" in your ear, having difficulty with hearing, then this is more likely a fluid buildup in that middle ear space. Recommend you chew gum, "pop" your ears hundreds of times a day and monitor for other symptoms. ...Read more

Rt ear has gone numb - past 2 days. No dizziness, no h/o of trauma, no ear discharge, no pain, ear cavity clean, on post angioplasty drugs, please help?
CN 7, 9, 10: The sensory innervation of the pinna (or ear) is complex: cranial nerves 7, 9, 10 play a part. Given your otherwise neurological "intactness" except this pinnal numbness, my question is: have you recently 'cracked' your neck, had chiropractic manipulation, what was angioplastied? Arterial dissection is the concern. The simplest explanation is focal compressing ear too long during sleep... ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Pain in right bump cheek some leg pain no swellin or redness no hist DVT no travel bc can DVT cause bum pain?
Dvt: given your description your pain and especially its location and lack of distal congestion it is unlikely to be due to dvt. I'm 7wks 5days & I'm getting this dull achy lower pelvic pain for a couple days now accompanied by some back pain, no bleeding. Is this miscarriage?
Not necessarily: A dull aching lower pelvic pain and lower back pain can be due to the growing uterus, muscle strain, and several other things including a UTI. If you are not bleeding, this would not even be considered a threatened miscarriage. Your PCP or OB can look into what is going on and give you ideas about how to help the discomfort. Hope this helps. Your concern shows what a great mom this baby has. ...Read more
