While cleaning my ear the qtip implailed my ear drum. My ear bleed 4 two days and it feels like my ear is plugged. Can't hear, migraine what do I do?

See an ENT DOC: Cleaning the inside of ear canal with a q-tip is a definite no no. Tearing the drum, bleeding may be repaired, but I have seen patients that have dislocated one of the 3 hearing bones. That can cause severe conduction hearing loss with normal nerve. The surgery for that although not hard is only 30 % successful with risk of facial palsy and loosing your taste on one side. ...Read more

My eardrum was tear off by Putting cotton bud in my ear and it start bleeding+water got in.Then yellow liquid came out.Is this serious ifmy ear infect?

Clarification: Cotton baton does not usually cause a perforation of the ear drum. If you used a Q-tip, then it is possible for an ear drum to be damaged. If, indeed, you have a hole in the ear drum and water got in, and you have yellow liquid coming out, then you have a middle ear infection. You must see an ENT doctor for diagnosis and treatment. ...Read more

An ear drum can be red if child has fever, is crying, holding breath, etc. We also look at landmarks, how the light reflexes, whether the ear drum moves, whether there is fluid behind the drum.
