PreSurgical meds: I am not a surgeon, but I know you should avoid Aspirin or products containing aspirin. This would include alka selzer, b c powders, pepto bismol (bismuth subsalicylate) as well as other preparations. These substances act as blood thinners and increase bleeding complications. Ginkgo biloba can have similar affects. Be sure and check with your surgeon, they probably have a list of what to avoid. Good luck. ...Read more

A psychiatrist can: Answer this based on your family medical history and your medical history: allergies, what meds have worked in the past. They can prescribe a number of meds like Klonopin, Xanax, Prozac, Paxil, (paroxetine) Celexa, Zoloft, and Lexapro. You need to ask a health food store about OTC meds for anxiety. I am unsure of that. ...Read more
You are correct: Thankfully, most of them are placebos or have relatively mild biologic effects. A couple of the botanicals are extremely dangerous and only politics-as-usual keeps them legal in the usa. Some are quite helpful -- just tonight, I've recommended asking a personal physician about yohimbine. And vegetarians do need to supplement or they get multiple deficiencies -- otherwise the lifestyle's great. ...Read more

Advice some supplements or medication to help me to gain body mass and to bulk the body with no side affects. Regular at gym. Age 33.Height 5'8"60kg?

Why is it important to obtain a physicians order for medication that your giving including OTC supplements?
Here's a guess: Since OTC meds do not inherently require a physician order, I assume you're dealing with an institution which requires enrollees to have such an order.
