At : At 20 years old it seems unusual that you would have erectile dysfunction. Problems like this might be related to hormonal imbalances (testosterone), reaction to medications (especially antihypertensive medications, antidepressants), reaction to drugs( marijuana, etc), alcohol, and stress (performance anxiety or general stress/depression). It seems reasonable to see your physician for further evauation or referral to a urologist. ...Read more

No: Migraines can occur during sleep. There is a higher incidence during later stages of sleep. It is important to talk to a neurologist regarding your symptoms to decide if these are truly migrainous and yoy may need an MRI to rule out other causes. Regular consumption of Excedrin (or most OTC meds) can lead to overuse analgesia headache which may be what you are experiencing now. ...Read more

Doctor can evaluate: If a woman is 25 years old and looks prepubertal, she can be evaluated by an Endocrinologist who sees adults, or a Pediatric Endocrinologist who is willing to see her; plus a Family Practice doctor or Internal Medicine doctor or an Adolescent Medicine doctor who is willing to see her. Depends on maturity: level, whether you will continue to grow or not. If you already have mature genitals and facial hair, then you may be past your major growth spurt and your genetic potential, and medications or special diet will have no impact. If not, your body will continue to grow until you reach full maturity. Healthy diet with adequate rest will serve you best. ...Read more

There : There are many different kinds of worms that can infect humans. Since you mentioned itching, i assume that you are talking about pinworms? If you are not sure what kind of worms your child has, you should call his doctor. Pinworm infections are extremely common - most often seen in kids between ages 5 and 10. It is spread by person to person contact. Animals do not harbor pinworms. The most common symptom is an itchy anal area, especially at night when the worms are most active. It is usually not dangerous - just annoying - and is easily treated with medications. Albendazole and Mebendazole are the two medications used most often to kill the worms. Pyrantyl pamoate (pin-x) is less effective and has higher rate of side effects, so is not used as often. Everyone in the household should be treated at the same time to avoid re-infection. A few tips to prevent re-infection after treatment are: -wash hands carefully after using the bathroom and before eating -wash all bedding, clothing and toys to destroy lingering eggs -wash underwear and pajamas daily for 2 weeks -wash sheets every 3-7 days for 3 weeks reinfection a few months after treatment is common, so if your symptoms reappear, call your doctor. Pinworms do not cause abdominal pain, bloody stools, fevers, or poor appetite, so if you have any of these symptoms, you need to contact your doctor. ...Read more

Chalazion: Your stye has probably transposed into a chalazion- a cystic nodule in the lid where the stye once was. This can be removed in an office procedure by your ophthalmologist. In the meantime, there is no reason why you cannot wear contact lenses as they will not aggravate or cause a stye ...Read more
