Duromine Increases Fertility
Very possibly: While you do not state what type of hydroquinone you take (oral, topical?). Infertility has been associated in numerous studies with even topical hydroquinone, and one can infer that it probably affects fertility in oral form also. Check the online PDR (Physicians Desk Reference) for this question searching under the exact product you are using. ...Read more
Complex: Fertility requires a number of hormones that need to be released in the right amounts at the right time in your cycles. For instance, fsh makes the follicles which contain the eggs grow, lh causes the eggs to release and estrogen and Progesterone prepare the womb for implantation. Production of too little or too much of these hormones or release at the wrong time can cause infertility. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
Nope: Nice try, though.... Any smoking will not increase your fertility or improve pcos symptoms. You may not care as much ; have an increased appetite, neither which is beneficial to achieve pregnancy. Talk to your doc about using metformin to improve any glucose intolerance, improve ovulation, and if all fails, ovulation induction with Clomid (clomiphene) is helpful further down the road. Good luck! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Can adding hCG shots while taking femara (letrozole) for infertility improve the chances of conceiving?
See urologist : Management of "male infertility" depends on the nature and etiology of male infertility. For example, mildly decreased sperm count or severe (no sperm). There are several causes for having a low sperm count. Best to seek a urological evaluation to possibly determine the cause of an abnormal semen analysis. The etiology will determine the best option to correct the problem, if possible. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Will taking 1 mg of Xanax (alprazolam) daily affect my sperm count/fertilily in any way? Also, will drinking alcohol affect my sperm count/fertility?
Xanax (alprazolam) is addicting : While Xanax (alprazolam) may not lower your sperm count it can most certainly over time decrease your libido (desire for sex). However the main issue with longterm use of drugs in this class (benzodiazepines) and in particular Xanax (alprazolam), is their addictive potential. Use with care, and I'd recommend not daily but only as you need. ...Read more

I took 30mg duromine for 2 weeks without working out and i did not lose any weight but are had a balanced diet. what could be be problem ?
Amphetamines: Psychostimulant drugs such as Duromine should not be marketed or used for weight loss in my opinion. You are on the right track as regards a balanced diet, and gaining a better understanding of that will be helpful. If you reduce your wheat, dairy and sugar intake you will lose weight with or without exercise. The "unseen" calories from the processed forms of these food groups really add up. ...Read more
I've been prescribed duromine 40mg because i've gained 20kg in a yr, but it's not uncommon for me to get anxiety. should I just avoid the medication?
Hard to tell: duromine can cause restlessness and insomnia so i believe you take it in the day---you could stop it for a few days and see if your anxiety got better----however a lot of times folks deal with their anxiety by eating too much----so you would have to work some of it out in psychotherapy----seeing how you got overweight to start with-----best take up some sport or excercise---hope this helps---sid k ...Read more

It's a moot issue: ...since I don't recommend Duramine except to kick start weight loss. Even then, I personally don't prescribe it. It can be used for only a short time & has many potentially serious side effects. IMHO, the only way to achieve significant, sustained wt. loss is by a life long change in eating & exercise habits. Of course, in your case, the right dose of thyroid hormone is also critical. ...Read more
