Could be IBS: Especially if there is bloating and change in bowel habits (constipation or diarrhea or alternating between the two). What triggers the pain and what relieves it? Does it wake up you at night? Any weight loss? FOr your burps, do you have heartburn, nausea/vomiting, trouble swallowing?

Questionable Labor: Heres what you do. Call labor and delivery and talk to one of the wonderful nurses there. Tell them who your doctor is, tell them what you are feeling and ask them if they think you should come in. I tell my patients to go to L&D if their water breaks, if they start having regular contractions 4-5 minutes apart, if they start bleeding more than spotting, if they have severe constant belly pain. ...Read more

I will be having my period in next week, since 2 days complaining lower back pain and stomach cramps. Can I be preg, when should I take my pregnant test?

Take the test: If you want to know if you are pregnant, take a test. In today's world you do not need to wonder if you are pregnant or not based on symptoms. Ttc. Usual 50 day period a day late. Neg. Test. But some lower cramps and low back pain. Sore breasts. Could I still be pregnant or something else?

Tests are accurate: Today's home pregnancy tests are very accurate and not affected by foods, herbs, common illnesses, sexually transmitted diseases, vaginal spotting, or medications. A test gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (or when conception might have happened) or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a negative result may be due to testing too early, such as less than 2 weeks after conception. ...Read more

I been having sore breast, right lower cramps in my abdomin, and some lower back pains on my left side. Could this be signs if early pregnancy. My period is not due until the 24 of May. And I have been sexual active within the past two weeks?

Maybe. Maybe not.: It can be hard to tell if a woman is pregnant because some of the symptoms seen in early pregnancy can also happen in non-pregnant women. A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result if done correctly. One can test about 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. An Ob-Gyn doctor can evaluate any persistent or worrisome symptoms. ...Read more

Period no cramps, back pain, frequent headaches, and my stomach feels full all the time even when I haven't eaten, could I be pregnant?

Most likely No: If you are getting regular monthly menstrual cycles, you are not pregnant. Had bad cramps in lower stomach. Didn't get period for long time. 2 negative tests. Could I still be pregnant?

Trust the test: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctor's office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. Period is late 1 day, stressed had protected sex 2 weeks ago, lower bk pains, lower Tummy cramps, moody, period or pregnancy? Need help!

Could be either: Taken by themselves, your symptoms could be either -- but are more likely premenstrual in origin because you said you had "protected" sex. If you are not sure how "protected" this actually was -- or you miss your period by a week or so -- you could take a home pregnancy test and get a more reliable answer. ...Read more

According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
