What is your health?: If liver is healthy now, and you are in good health now then yellow eyes after emergency GI surgery was transient/normal. During recovery the liver processes hematoma left over from bleeding. Yellow eyes, high blood bilirubin occur commonly as the liver works. Yes and NO: Ulcer usually results in loose bowel movements, diarrhea, gas and bloating. I cannot see how a hernia mesh result in the increase in stomach acid. ...Read more
