Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity at tolerated.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.

Very unlikely: Only about 1000 brain tumors are diagnosed in the US per year in people between the ages of 15 and 20. So, it would be very unlikely this headache is related to a tumor. It will likely go away with time. It can be from dehydration or caffeine withdrawal. Return to your doctor if it is persistent and/or worsening. Causes of pain one top of head on one side? Dull pain, daily intermittent When I press the area it is sore. Could this be something serious?

Muslce: This is likely a muscle tension headache. We have muscles that cross all over our skull and for a lot of people, these can become tense and sore, causing pain that is palpable and even headaches for some. I might suggest trying some ibuprofen 600-800mg every 6hours as needed or naproxen 500mg every 12 hours as needed which may help with any inflammation and pain. A heating pad may also help. ...Read more

See dermatologist: There are several possible reasons for this. This could be due to skin causes such as dry skin, an infection of the scalp, vitamin b deficiency especially b12, or abnormal thyroid function. Occasionally, scalp tenderness and tingling are seen in patients who have chronic headaches such as migraine. The treatment is different for each cause. Check with your gp or dermatologist first. ...Read more
