For a week or two, I experienced a dull pain on my lower abdomen and this pain spread to the lower back (pelvic region) with a warm sensation. Stone?
Unlikely: Stone pain is excruciating, tends to radiate from flank to groin. Would wonder about ruptured ovarian cyst which would be more likely to cause this type of pain. Endometriosis would also be on the list as well as a host of other diagnoses. Best to see your doctor for evaluation if symptoms persist. Hope this was helpful. Best of luck. Dr R ...Read more

Urine culture?: You did not say if you had a urine culture done. Sometimes this kind of pain can be due to an infection that may not show up with routine urine cultures. An example is nongonoccocal urethritis or prostatiis. Some docs might try a course of antibiotics and see if that helps the symptoms, since cultures can be expensive. Discuss this with your doc or see a urologist. ...Read more

Right side pain: Sometimes ovarian cysts occur on one side, and the cysts reach their largest size just prior to a period, then rupture and pain disappears. Could be: If you are running a fever and feel like you have lost your appetite it could be your appendix. If you have increased pain when you hit a bump while driving it could be your appendix. Those are big signs to look for. I would go ahead and be seen just to make sure. ...Read more

I have been bleeding between periods for a few years, and I have pelvic dull pain. I'm scared to go to the doctors. Could you tell me what it could be?
See a gynecologist:
It is unlikely to be uterine cancer at age 32 but not impossible. More likely is a fibroid, polyp or hormone imbalance which can be easily managed by a gynecologist.
You should definitely get it evaluated and most likely all that will happen initially is a painless ultrasound on the first visit. ...Read more

7dpo and having bad stretching aching pains in lower back and right side of pelvis. Is this normal? Is this a sign of pregnancy? If yes will b my 4th
A little early: 7 days post ovulation is a little early to suspect that any symptoms you are having are the result of pregnancy. One way to tell is to check a home pregnancy test. If negative then this implies that the hormone levels are too low for detection. If there are no detectable hormonal changes then the symptoms are not caused by that. A better time to take a test is if you miss your next period. ...Read more

5-6 weeks pregnant. I have dull pain when I stand up straight or make certain movements on right side by pelvic bone. No bleeding, etc. Thoughts?
Pain on right side: At five weeks of pregnancy, the ovary which produced the egg is very active producing hormones to support the pregnancy. It is tender to pressure and movement. Make sure you have a serum HCG and ultrasound, because pregnancies can reside in your tube, and this should be confirmed by those tests. This is unlikely since there is no bleeding, but get it checked. ...Read more

31 yo/f - dull vague aching/tenderness in hips/pelvic region (more right side) for over a week now. Could this be ovarian cancer? PCP said muscular
No: A primary ovarian cancer is hard to dx because mostly asymptomatic. When it spreads, it induces ascites from omentum. Then spreads to bowel where GI symptoms arise. Aching in hips and pelvic especially on moving is sign of musculo skeletal problem. A pelvic CAT scan can resolve issue, if at all needed. ...Read more
