Difficult to say: It's possibly a strained muscles if it's been this long and increases with movement. Unlikely it is anything in the abdomen (bowels etc). If it persists longer than 4 weeks I think you should see your doctor. ...Read more

Worrisome at 78 yrs: Causes of recurrent abdominal discomfort as described may be identified by first addressing signs/symptoms so as to localize the organ involved: in women: vaginal discharge or bleeding, alteration in periods, pregnancy risk? Hernia?: I found myself wondering as I read your history if you'd been checked for a right inguinal hernia. It could produce that kind of pain, and wouldn't cause lab abnormalities in the blood or urine. It could also be a pulled abdominal muscle but I'd think that would've resolved by now. R/O EPIDIDIMYTIS: Testiciular pain demands a through evaluation. EXam/LABS/TESTICULAR US. Your symptoms are consistent with epididimytis v varicocoele v spermatocoele. Discuss with your dr. Could be: Do you have your appendix?Fever? From what you describe though it does not sound typical appendicitis. Keep an eye on it and seek MD if worsening pain or changes like fever, increased pain, bowel movement changes. ...Read more

You need: to have this checked out ASAP! Generalized abdominal pain which "settles" in the right lower abdomen is pretty "classical"for acute APPENDICITIS.
