Exertional headache: Sometimes a headache after physical exertion or orgasm is caused by a subarachnoid hemorrhage. Normally this kind of headache is very severe and does not improve with time. A subarachnoid hemorrhage is an emergency! Such a condition is rare however. Most exertional headaches are situational and they improve with rest. How long has the headache bothered you? It sounds like its exertional.

Probably tension: There are many causes of headaches. Yours sound like a tension headache, often caused by clenched muscles, or spasms, since it is sore to the touch. This may be due to constant hunching over a computer with tightening of the neck muscles. It may also be a variation of a migraine. However, there are many causes for headaches. 5 days had dull ache on and off on left side of head. Not painful. I just saw a dr 7 days ago for checkup, im in great health 29 male. What do u think?

Neck spasm, stress: Temples are a referral area for tension and stiffness in the neck. If you are working for long periods at a computer or leaning over projects, this can cause tightness of the cervical paraspinal muscles that can radiate to either or both temples, even leading to tenderness of the temples. If headache occurs at day's end, likely related to day's stress, if happens in am, may relate to poor sleep.

Muscle spasm: It sounds like you might have muscle spasm throughout the neck and upper back. Muscle has memory, so this can become chronic and pull your spine out of it's normal alignment, so you should address it as soon as you can, either with physical therapy or a good deep tissue massage therapist

Lots of Causes: There are many conditions which can cause those symptoms. However, in my experience, the most common and also the easiest to treat is a night-time habit of clenching and grinding your teeth. You may not even be aware of this behavior. Your dentist can help you with that quickly and easily. If that is not the cause or doesn't resolve the issue, you should then see an ENT and go from there.
