Very unlikely: At your age - 31 - it is very unlikely that you would have disease of the blood vessels in the heart causing blockages and pain in chest or rarely back. Young women can sometimes have heart disease, but almost always there are risk factors which include smoking (major risk), use of oral contraceptives, strong family history, diabetes, high cholesterol+/or high BP. Possible: 10-14 days is not uncommon. Hints: Force fluids x 8-10 glasses/day: 50% electrolyte rich fluids, 50% clear broth, bullion, consume .Warm water gargles, nasal saline mist, hot tea and honey, hot steam showers, Cold- Eze Lozenges, Tylenol (acetaminophen) 1-2 TABLETS every 4-6 hours as needed for fever greater than 100. Well, you had a good: look at the upper and lower gastrointestinal system back in February, but it doesn't sound like you really have a diagnosis yet. This is the highest priority. It's not clear whether your symptoms are coming from the GI tract, the lungs/pleural cavity, or even your heart.
