How is your stress?: If stress is a factor this could be the cause of all of this especially if you are hyperventilating. The headache, the pain in the base of the neck and the pressure sounds like a stress reaction. Examine your health history and take stock of yourself. Too much caffeine?

Depends: If your symptoms are improving, you may watch and wait. If the symptoms persist a week or so, without improvement, after the fall, you should see a doctor.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Occipital neuralgia: Involves the greater and lesser occipital nerves located in the back of the scalp and can produce neck pain as well as headache. Sounds a lot: Like INFLUENZA (FLU!!!!) Drink lots of fluids, takes Aspirin or Acetominophen for the fever and REST!

If symptoms continue or worsen...Call your Primary Care Provider (PCP) for advice and possibly a hands on examination!

A lab can test such a tick for lyme disease bacteria. The doctor may treat with antibiotics if the lab finds lyme bacteria, if the bite site has a bull's-eye rash, or if there are other worries...
