Not a migraine: Could be a cervicogenic headache which is from neck muscles in spasm. You could try a massage of the area or a hot shower playing the spray over the neck area while stretching out the neck muscles. Interesting: Well this is a first for me, and therefore is have to guess a bit. You may feel better just by the forced closure and rubbing action delivered to your eye through the eyelids. Assuming you are talking about back pain, middle and left, and you are talking about headache, or pain in the head above the eye and behind it.

Tension vs Migraine: I need more data but this might be a migraine. I would be suspect of a migraine if you have family history of migraines, headaches are cyclical, they last a 6-48 hours, you have nausea and vomiting.
