Dulcolax And Stomach Cramps
Hi, I had an a op on Monday and was told to take Dulcolax for my stomach, I have had severe cramps and nausea since 2am, how can I solve this?
Concerned: To answer the question better, I would need to know what op you had. I would not consider Dulcolax a medication for the stomach as typical use this for constipation. Cramps and nausea would not typically respond to Dulcolax. If the procedure was of the gastrointestinal type, I would seek a doctor or other health care provider quickly to evaluate your symptoms. Good luck. ...Read more

Hmmmm?: In high activity sports or in sports requiring abdominal muscle use, it is the muscles that usually cramp. This can be due to use and Lactic Acid buildup or could be due to electrolyte issues. Just fatigue can be the source too. Usually not the stomach (digestive sac) that is causing the pain unless it is the pangs of hunger that are hurting. Stay well hydrated! ...Read more

Diarrhea: I cannot justify telling you to take anything and I would not endorse taking anything for diarrhea if there is the possibility for an infectious cause or medication induced. Pepto bismol (bismuth subsalicylate) and loperamide are anti-diarrheal medications found over the counter. Maybe you should see your doctor for a stool exam 1st. ...Read more

Gastritis?: The list of possibilities is way too long to review here. More information is needed. It could be something as simple as a stomach virus, or acute food poisoning, pregnancy, etc. Is anyone else sick? Do you have a fever? Is there diarrhea? And you rashes? My advice would be to get plenty of fluids and if your symptoms do not improve in the next 24 hours call your primary care physician. Best of luck, jp. ...Read more

Go bug: You get diarrhea after eating for the last 2 days. It is most likely an infectious bug. Your body reacts by purging the system i.E diarrhea. This diarrhea should be self limiting. ...Read more
Good morning, my 6 month old baby still has stomach cramps which are frequent at night. Is this normal?
Cramps?: Every crying baby does so by tightening their breathing muscle. This pushes out on the belly and makes it firm. Many people assume they have a digestive or stomach issue when this happens. Many kids cry at night, particularly after 6mo when they realize they are alone. (separation anxiety) An exam and other symptoms might clarify the issue. ...Read more
When my stomach is empty I I fell that I I have stomach cramps and cannot breath then after I eat it subside.?
Might be ulcer: An ulcer is a spot in the stomach that has lost the surface layer that protects deeper layers from stomach acid. Acid touching the unprotected deeper layer causes pain. Food in the stomach dilutes the acid and makes it not hurt as badly. An "empty" stomach can still have acid in it, and this undiluted acid can cause severe pain. See a gastroenterologist to determine if you have an ulcer or not. ...Read more

Milk abdominal pain: You could have lactose intolerance. Many people with this can tolerate small amounts of dairy, but when they have too much they can get gas, cramps, and even diarrhea.
