Hi, i recently had surgery - pain meds caused constipation. For relief, I used dulcolax overnight relief. 15 hours later still cramping and very nauseated and orange diarrhea - do I need to be concerned?

Took dulcolax at 8 pm last night hoping it would work overnight. Have an event today so took Imodium (loperamide) ad at 5 am (9 hrs later). Is this safe?

Hydrate, hydrate: Stay well hydrated (at least 8 - 8 ounces glasses of water per day). Try to get in 5 servings of vegetables and 4 servings of fruit per day – get that fiber in. Stay physically active if possible. There are a number of over the counter laxatives that can be taken orally to help pass retained fecal matter.
