Hiv RNA qualitative test negative; but absolute CD4 helper-879;% CD4 pos. Lymph-31.4;abs.Cd8 suppressor-1204;% cd8 pos lymph-43.0;cd4:cd8 ratio-0.73?
I wouldn't worry: Cd4 normally runs around 500-1000. Cd8 usually runs 150-1000 or so, but these ranges are set so that several percent of healthies fall outside. I'm not worried; you can repeat the RNA if you mistrust the lab. In healthy folks, the values vary chaotically. I had burning mouth for weeks after coxsackie herpangina and a viral infection may have through your cells out of kilter briefly. ...Read more

Elevated EBV ab VCA IgG <8 and EBV nucleaer antigen ab IgG test 4.2. & anti-dna(ss)igg ab qn ( 119)& c react protien(5.6) what are implications?
Nothing.: Ebv antibodies indicate you had a previous infection, but not active. The c-reactive protein needs a units indicator - that is either normal or somewhat elevated. The anti ss dna is extremely nonspecific and very rarely indicated; I have no idea why that was ordered, discuss with your doctor. ...Read more
The clients blood typing reveals Rh antigens what blood type would the client have Rh receptive, Rh negative , Rh resistant, Rh positive
Ebv panel. Ebv nuc antigen igg=157, early ag igg=12.7, EBV VCA igg=112, EBV VCA igm=10.6. Please explain. Concerned about spleen. Symp=fatigue/fog?
? Active infection: It's impossible for me to answer with certainty since i don't know the normal ranges your lab uses. If early ag & vca igm are elevated above normal this indicates active ebv infection.I don't know if it is acute or chronic without knowing your history. If chronic i see that as a sign of poor immune function.Immune-boosting herbs/supplements & IV vit c drips may help, but find why immunity is poor. ...Read more

Blood group antigen: Rhesus (rh) blood group is one of the more than 20 different blood group systems. One of the markers in rh system is "d" that is used in the terminology you inquired about. If rh d is present the person is rh positive and vice versa. See this site for more info (more than one needs) http://www.Ncbi.Nlm.Nih.Gov/books/nbk2269/. ...Read more

Yes: Your blood group is based on presence of specific antigen on your red cells, if you have "a" antigen, you are "a" blood group, if "b" antigen then "b" blood group and if you neither have "a" nor "b" antigen, then you are "o" blood group. Both "a" and "b" antigen are based on genetic make up. However, the ABO incompatibility that can lead to jaundice only happens when mother is "o" blood group. ...Read more

It's not really: a question of truth telling. No test is perfect: the proteins and reactants used in each test will respond to an individual's blood/biologic material, potentially, in a different way. Falsely positive or falsely negative results are not very unusual. You need to decide on a confirmatory strategy with your doctor. Retesting is necessary and an expert can help you weigh the evidence to decide result ...Read more
