Maybe due to water: Getting wate or shampoo in the ear can cause irritation. The clogging could be due to water or moist wax. Yo may need to have the ear examined to make sure there is not a wax buildup. ...Read more

Rash behind ears: Most commonly weepy scaling dry rash behind ears is either eczema, seborrheic dermatitis or psoriasis. All three of these may respond to topical medications such as cortisone creams, however weeping may also mean that the rash is infected. This sounds like: Otitis Externa ( Infection of the ear canal) and if so ORAL antibiotics are necessary along with antibiotic ear drops! Contact your PCP (Primary Care provider) as soon as practicable

Seb derm: Seborrheic dermatitis (seb derm) is a chronic intermittent rash typically affecting the face, ears, scalp, & trunk.
This condition is believed to result from overactive sebaceous glands (seborrhea) & inflammation. The mainstay of treatment includes topical anti-fungal agents alone or in combination with topical steroids. Recommend that you see a dermatologist to get it under control.

Cradle cap: Seborrhea of the scalp (cradle cap) is very common in infants. Treatment is low-tech and pretty easy actually. Drizzle a small amount of baby oil (or olive oil) onto the baby's scalp then massage it in with the baby's soft hairbrush. Let that sit for about 20 minutes or so, then gently wash the baby's hair.
