Water IsEssential to: clean. Shampoo, like other soaps/detergents, does not clean. They are emulsification agents which can coat groups of fat molecules at a submicroscopic scale, so that fat molecules (water rejects) will now mix (via the charged surrounding soap molecules) with water & wash away. This is also why physical agitation is essential; it breaks up fat, & other molecules, so the soap molecules can cover. ...Read more
Not to worry: Dry shampoo seems pretty innocuous, see: https://www.wired.com/2015/05/whats-inside-dry-shampoo/ Try not to inhale the actual spray too much; use in a ventilated space, such as with the bathroom fan on or near a window. Most carcinogens which may be in over the counter preparations are picked up and banned by the FDA, unless in the future the FDA gets gutted due to politics. ...Read more
I have been exercising a little bit everyday.I want to wash my hair each time bc i feel during but I use dry shampoo instead. How often can I wash it?
Hair washing : It is perfectly fine to wash hair every day. Dry shampoo does not remove the sweat and oils that are deposited on the scalp and hair during exercise. Dry scalp? Shampoos and conditioners don't help, even dry after salon visit? Possible cause: dehydration?
Doubt it!: I'm assuming your dry scalp is manifesting as dandruff. This is usually not due to any dehydration but is due to excess oil (sebum) production. You will need to use special medicated shampoo to control and avoid saturated or trans fats which can worsen things. Some people use tea tree oil which can help. It doesn't hurt to stay hydrated but that alone is unlikely to fix everything. ...Read more

Shampoo less frequently, perhaps only once or twice a week; add a conditioner; avoid blow drying and harsh styling products. That will work 99% of the time. If it doesn't, see your doctor to rule out an underlying cause. ...Read more
