Would a chemical peel help my rosacea? I am fair-skinned and I have severe rosacea. I am very unhappy with the way my face looks, especially the redness and the pimples. Can a chemical peel be used to achieve a better facial skin look for people with rosa

The : The international rosacea foundation (and most other experts) strongly recommend against chemical peels in rosacea patients. The reasoning for this recommendation is that chemical peels tend to increase inflammation and modify the superficial vessels in your skin (both of which are already problematic in rosacea). While you may notice temporary improvement from such treatments, your rosacea will rebound, and in all likelihood it will be worse than before the peel. I've attached a link to a mayo clinic discussion about rosacea. I hope it helps! http://www.Mayoclinic.Com/health/rosacea/ds00308. ...Read more
