For the past few nights I have EXCESSIVE dry mouth&thirst&frequent urination. I get up thrice to urinate. Barely happens at day. Its scary, what is wrong?

Female, age 24. Diag. W/ chronic hives a year ago. Past few months: dry mouth, constant thirst (water 84+ oz/day)rapid heart beat, frequent urination.?
4 conditions come to mind:
a. drinking too much water from an obsessive urge leading to water intoxication.
b. Diabetes insipidus -the pituitary no longer secretes the hormone (ADH) to control the urinary flow.
(c)Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus.
(d)If you are taking a lot of Benadryl (diphenhydramine) for the hives it would lead to dryness in the mouth->thirst.

More info needed...: Your problem is not due to your dental caries. Do you drink eight glasses of water a day? High salt diet? Medications? How much alcohol a day? Any other medical conditions?
