What reason could be for ALT 60; abs eosinophils 680; co2 31test results, symptoms - chest pain, chronic dry cough, left knee swollen & painful?

Dry mouth, lips, throat. Knee/shoulder pain. Negative Ro/SS-A, La/SS-B and ANA and Rosa bengal test. Normal US parotid gland. Can still be Sjogren?

Yes: Stop the phenylbutazone as this can cause an aplastic anemia. Make sure your thyroid function tests are normal as well. Dry mouth alone makes Sjogrens unlikely but still possible, even with negative blood tests. In this situation, a lip biopsy can be helpful. ...Read more

It feels like there's cold water dripping down on my left knee but it's dry. Why do I have this sensation?

Meralgia Peristhetic: The scary problem is only annoying. A nerve that exits your pelvis just under the bony point in the front is the culprit. It is irritated, often by tight clothing, and along with the wetness you may feel numbness on the outer side of the thigh with a cold feeling. Because it is numb people often burn themselves trying to warm it up. The nerve is the anterior femoral cutaneous. Nothing helps! ...Read more
