Atopic dermatitis: Atopic dermatitis is a skin condition characterized by dry, wrinkled, itchy and occassionally red skin. Symptoms can be reduced by using hypoallergenic cleansers and moisturizers such as Cetaphil, and fragrance/dye free detergents. Topical steroids like 1% hydrocortisone cream are also helpful. Hand eczema: There is every possibility this is a small site of hand eczema. We see this very often and people in your occupation because recurrent contact with water and soaps and detergents and so forth.
