I have irregular menses, heavy eye's, continuous dark circles, dry hair, thyroid-normal, hb-11.2, father had renal failure, can u please help?
Ok, hold on, don't: Go make your will yet. Sleeping well at night? Stress level elevated? Crying spells? Issues with weight? You may be having irregular menses b/c you are not ovulating regularly. This is pcos, usually. This can put you at risk for a mood problem, often signified by sleep disruption. There is a link to diabetes, if pcos, metformin can help and prevent dm in many cases. I'm sure ur kidneys r ok.
Autoimmune, celiac, vitamin def, thyroid, anemia all normal. Still having dark circles, dry hair is thinning, dry skin, could it be pcos or low acid?
Dry thin hair& skin: Sounds like you've had all the proper blood work. I would make sure you get vit D and B checked. You could have an intolerance to gluten which would not show up on any lab test. The sx also sound like you maybe malnourished. Have you been doing extreme dieting? I know when I diet everything is affected, and not right away. Try going gluten free, and drink water and tea. No soda. Feel better!

Alopecia vs fungus: Child probably is developing alopecia. It would be important also to rule out a fungal infection of the scalp. Best would be to see a dermatologist who can do a Woods light examination and a KOH prep and tell you the diagnosis and treatment right away. If it is Alopecia he will also be able to guide you properly and reassure you. If required further work up can also be initiated.
Can excess acid cause more problems than just heartburn? Like can it cause dry hair, joint pain, dry skin etc. Please help me im only 18!
No: Those issues are all unrelated to acid production. Have your thyroid function checked.
Drugstore: Go to the drugstore and look at the various types of shampoos and conditioners that are available. Some of them are meant specifically for dry and frizzy hair. Try one of them and see if they work.
Shampoo, blow dry: Most dry hair is caused by over-shampooing and over-blow drying, no matter what you've read. Shampoo less frequently, perhaps only once or twice a week; add a conditioner; avoid blow drying and harsh styling products. That will work 99% of the time. If it doesn't, see your doctor to rule out an underlying cause.
