I have a dry cough with chest congestion and wheezing...Sometimes when I cough I cough mucus. What can I do or take to help my congestion /wheezing?

Sore throats tricky: It's so hard to predict accurately when a sore throat IS NOT a strep throat. Your symptoms SOUND like either viral pharyngitis or allergic, right? But, you could also have strep. I would drink fluids, take a little something to knock the pain down a little, maybe some Motrin, and get a strep test done...you can go to a Minute Clinic or something....but I'd get it done. ...Read more

Chest congestion: Try having a steam vaporiser in ur bedroom and put soem liquid Vicks in the water. This maight help u breathe easier. Also if it is reallly bad u shsould see ur doc to make sure u do nto have any bronchits or pneumonia or wheezing.
