Let me ask you: How did reach of diagnosis of bursitis? One two ways, you diagnosis done by physical exam and followed by mri. If that what was done you could give some time. If you did not do the above how do you your shoulder diagnosis? My answer will be no. ...Read more

Get examined: "bursitis" of the shoulder and a rotator cuff tear can present w/ very similar symptoms(pain w/ motion of shoulder away from body , night pain, etc).However subacromial bursitis will generally improve w/ time, rot.Cuff tears usually not.
