Wondering if cophylac drops have any interactions with crestor (rosuvastatin) or BP meds?

Wondering if cophylac drops have any interactions with crestor (rosuvastatin) or BP meds?

Canadian: We don't have cophylac in the usa so I have somewhat limited information. It is a combination of normethadone and hydroxyephedrine. I found no interaction with crestor (rosuvastatin). The hydroxyehedrine component could potentially counteract some of your blood pressure medicine so your BP should be monitored when you're taking it. ...Read more

Are statin drugs safe for long-term use? I take 5 mg. Crestor (rosuvastatin) 5 x week. It's keeping my numbers in check, but at what cost over time? 48 yr old male.

Statins: As far as we presently know statins are safe over time. There are some questions whether long term there might be some abnormalities of glucose handling produced. There are liver and other abnormalities which we've seen with statins that sometimes require the statin to be withdrawn. The great majority of patients on statins have no problems to the present time. ...Read more

I been taking the drug crestor (rosuvastatin) a statian for around a week now i been noticing my heart is racing its 5 mg should I stop it?

Probably not: Crestor (rosuvastatin) in this dose does not often cause a racing heart. It might be that your heart is rented for another reason. I would check with your doctor regarding this symptom and consider wearing a 24 hour monitor. It may be that your symptoms are unrelated. ...Read more

My husband takes Crestor, (rosuvastatin) Celexa, and Welbutrin and is considering taking Protandim by LifeVantage. Are there any interactions we should know about?

Advise Dr: Alas make certain that a doctor prescribing knows of ALL the other things you take or add to the mix. Always! Already the Celexa and Wellbutrin (bupropion) pose a major risk for seizures. Definitely talk to the Dr to see what they think of the total mix. It's important to mention even OTC items and supplements. Best! ...Read more

Side-effects similar: But some people react differently to each statin was your switch for Lipitor (atorvastatin) 40 to Crestor 40, or 20mg. Or were you at the highest dose of Lipitor (atorvastatin) (80mg)? If so, only cestror 40 is more potent. Lipitor (atorvastatin) has gone generic and may have a price advantage. Discusss with your prescribing doctor. A CPK is warranted. ...Read more

Angry?: Why don't you just stop the drug if you don't want to take it? No one can force you to take it if you don't want to. Btw, correlation does not prove causation. If a red car drives by your house and your forget where you put your keys, did the red car cause you to forget? ...Read more
