Seek support: To get free you must completely surrender to the fact you can't stop by your self. That you do indeed have a terminal disease if left untreated. Seek medical support especially if detox is needed. Try a twelve step meeting and get brutally honest with yourself and others that can help. You sound as though you are at a bottom, but there is a solution and you can be free. Rehab is another option. ...Read more

Drug dependence starts as a choice to start and can become a disease because it causes impairment in function (the basic definition of disease which itself is hard to define). SSRI Antidepressants: Ssri & snri antidepressants can help with compulsive anxiety. But stopping alcohol or drugs is deeper than taking a pill. You will need a specific recovery program such as aa and/or na, as well as help from an addiction medicine doctor (some are psychiatrists). Tramadol! Becareful: Use of tramadol is not recommended in those with history of substance dependency. Many overlook this point. Suboxone is also an opiate and more potent than tramadol. Its best to start low and taper fast when detoxing from tramadol by using suboxone. Every situation is unique and these are generalizations. However, since it is combined with tylenol, (acetaminophen) the usual maximal dose is about 8 pills a day, which results in a relatively moderate physical dependency.
