Yes but: A decongestant is often added to antihistamine and would counteract some of the drowsy effects but that is not a good solution. There are at least two other non-drowsy antihistamines available and steroid nasal spray actually works far better without the drowsy effect. Will nuvigil help with drowsiness caused by fluoxetine? Fluoxetine seems to be working. My suicidal thoughts have decreased but I'm fall asleep @work
Nuvigil will help with sleepiness.
However it seems like the flluoxetine hasn't done enough. Ask your dr about adding 1-2mg of abilify, (aripiprazole) and see if the combination helps with suicidal thoughts.
Also be sure that falling asleep really is the fluoxetine. Might be depression. Remember if you did that before the meds.

Pain meds: Tordol does not cause sedation. No NSAID will. Unfortunately most opiate based pain medications do cause sedation.
