Drip In Back Of Throat
This AM had a lot of thick, post nasal drip in back of throat. When I spat it out it looked like huge blood clots. What is going on? Sinus infection?
Sinus drainage, all clear mucous, post nasal drip in back of throat, clearing throat constantly, just started getting body aches, but no fever?
What's the question?: The symptoms sound like a viral respiratory infection ("cold"). Unless you develop a high fever, severe cough, chest pain, or shortness of breath, no antibiotics or specific medicines will help. The best treatments are rest, lots of fluids, a nasal decongestant or antihistamine if you are uncomfortably congested or need to just dry the drip, and a non-prescription pain reliever if needed. ...Read more
